Below are links to some sites we frequently use. We have also included useful information for registering dogs and accounts with these organizations.
To set up an account and add your dog to Entry Express -
Go to Entry Express Event Management Systems and register. Make sure you fill out your info completely, they are picky if you don't have email, phone #, etc filled out. After you are registered, choose "My Dogs" near the top left side of the screen. Then choose "add a dog", on the next screen type in your dog's registered name and hit continue. On the next screen, it will most likely say there aren't any dogs with that name so then you will choose "My Dog isn't listed". Then it will take you to the dog profiles page. Fill this out as much as you can. When you get to 'Sire Registered Name' and 'Dam Registered Name', if the dogs are in the system there will be a drop-down list for you to choose from. If they aren't in the system, you will need to fill this out manually including their registration number and EE will add those dogs to the system. They may contact you for information. In the Owner's section, start typing your name and it should show up in the drop-down list. If it doesn't, you might have to save things and come back and try again or double-check that you have your account profile filled out perfect. When you're done, hit save.

To register your dog with UKC -
Go to https://www.ukcdogs.com/single-registration, from here choose to register online, or pick your breed from the registration by dog breed search if you want to print off the application and mail it in. From there, follow the directions for either method. If your dog's AKC registered name is too long for UKC, use your imagination to shorten his/her name. If you want to list more than one owner, you will also need to fill out the Sole Signatory Form - https://www.ukcdogs.com/docs/registration-forms/sole-signatory-designation-form.pdf.
While you are on the UKC website, we suggest getting a national HRC membership. Go here Hunting Retrievers | United Kennel Club (UKC) and then choose 'Membership' on the left side. The perks to joining are the bi-monthly magazine which includes all of the test results and informational articles. You will not be charged the $5 non-HRC member fee when registering for HRC tests. If you run enough tests in a year, this pays for your membership itself!
If your dog runs in tests before it has it's UKC registration, you will need to send in point slips later on so those points are recorded. Follow the directions in the document below to take care of that.
