Whelping Services
We are now providing whelping services to litters outside of our own breeding program! Because we put our heart and souls into raising puppies, this will be limited to a certain number of litters at a time as we want to give our full attention to the mom and puppies in our care. If you are interested in this service, please contact us early to make sure we get you on our list. All dam owners will be required to sign a whelping contract and provide a down payment when the dam is dropped-off. Below is a summary of services.
Pre-breeding Options:

Our base package includes 2 week pre-whelp and 1 week post whelp. This cost is dependent on the total number of puppies born and may be more if there is a situation that requires extra care - c-section, tube feeding, etc. Week 2 to week 8 costs are based on a set rate/puppy/week.

Pre-breeding Options:
- Health and genetic testing - we will provide free expert advice on required testing and options to complete testing. All costs of tests and travel to complete testing will be the responsibility of the dam owner.
- Selecting a stud - we will make recommendations for your dam (when we are able to provide enough knowledge for your breed). If we facilitate discussions with potential stud owners there will be an additional cost.
- Pre-breeding testing - all brucelossis and progesterone testing costs and travel to complete testing are the responsibility of the dam owner.
- Travel to stud/vet clinic - dam owner will be responsible for all costs associated with travel, vet costs, and stud fees.

All moms and puppies will receive:
- Vet checked 1-3 days post-whelp for a wellness check for mom and puppies, dew claws removed and tails docked, if desired
- Proper food, care, cleaning and supplements for mom
- Wormed at 2, 4, and 6 weeks
- Potty training for puppies
- Proper socialization to humans, dogs, sights, smells and sounds
- Weaned starting at 4 weeks
- Vet shots at 6 weeks
Dam Owner's responsibility:
- Verification of pregnancy by ultrasound or x-ray before drop-off
- Proof of vaccinations
- Food for dam and puppies if not using Inukshuk
- Any supplements and medication outside of normal whelping supplies
- Health contract for puppies, if providing
- Litter registration with AKC, UKC, etc.
- Stud fee
